HIV/STD/Hepatitis C Information & Referral Center provides
general information on the prevention, transmission, and treatment
of HIV infection, sexually transmitted diseases, and hepatitis
C infection. A database on this website can help you find
local services (testing sites, health care providers, clinics,
and other resources) that address these health conditions.
Information services are provided through this Internet website
and through a toll-free information hotline that is available
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
As noted
on our disclaimer page, the Information and Referral Center
does not provide medical services or medical advice. Our information
services are designed to support and not replace information
usually received through a qualified health professional.
The
Wisconsin HIV/STD/Hepatitis C Information & Referral Center
(IRC) exists through a grant from the Wisconsin
Department of Health and Family Services
and is a program of the AIDS
Resource Center of Wisconsin.
